Group participants take turns planning excursions.
On December 7 the group will travel to Michener Art Museum in Doylestown to see the exhibit: The Painterly Voice - Bucks County Fertile Ground. The exhibition is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view some of the finest paintings from the 19th and first half of the 20th century, rarely made available to the general public. The exhibit will focus particularly on Buck County’s landscape tradition - Garber, Redfield, Spencer, Coppedge and their many friends and colleagues, who were part of the New Hope art colony.
We will also see an exhibit of Quilt Art. Lunch and shopping in downtown Doylestown. For reservations or information call Yvonne Payne at 610/867-6575
