Let's Read Math
Bethlehem AAUW Prepared to Launch Let's Read Math Program
After months of training, planning and preparation, the Let's Read Math study group has announced that they will preview the program, which uses many of the wonderful stories of children's literature to promote mathematical literacy and fun, at Marvine Elementary School on June 21, July 1, and July 8. AAUW volunteers will be presenting to small groups to English as a Second Language students. The delightful children's books members from Bethlehem and Allentown AAUW will use include The Greedy Triangle, Grandfather Tang's Story and How Big is a Foot?
Our Let's Read Math program has been funded through a generous community Action Grant (CAG) from AAUW;s Educational Foundation to Graham Boose and the West Chester-Chester County Branch, AAUW. We also received significant funding from Allentown AAUW.
